Prime Minister Tony Abbott accused unions of "identity theft" as he escalated his attack on former Australian Workers Union head and now Labor leader Bill Shorten.
Mr Shorten is facing questions about workplace agreements involving companies paying for bulk union membership in exchange for employer-friendly pay and conditions.
