An International Brotherhood of Teamsters vice president faces a fresh round of sanctions after an independent monitor found that he threatened union members and violated the terms of a two-year suspension from his union leadership positions.
The opinion, obtained by Bloomberg Law, concludes a nearly 20-month period of hearings over charges brought against International Vice President Rome Aloise. The union’s former Independent Investigations Officer Joseph E. diGenova filed the initial charges in February 2020.
