Warren Presidential Bid Would Put Labor Issues in Spotlight

Sen. Elizabeth Warren brings an early, labor-friendly face into the 2020 presidential race.

The Massachusetts Democrat, who launched a committee Dec. 31 to look into a presidential run, is a consistent supporter of worker-friendly regulations and laws. She wants to boost the minimum wage, require paid family leave for workers, and strengthen the right to join a labor union. She also supports universal health care and bolstering the Social Security system.
