Labor Board Rejects Nurse’s Bid for Union Neutrality Pact (1)

The National Labor Relations Board dismissed a Trump-era case filed against a union for allegedly violating the law by refusing to turn over a neutrality agreement it had with a Texas hospital.

The NLRB’s divided ruling Tuesday upheld an administrative law judge’s 2020 decision throwing out the complaint against National Nurses United, saying that “this case reflects an almost complete failure of proof on the part of the General Counsel.”

The case highlights the sharp change in direction that the NLRB’s legal division took following President Joe Biden’s Inauguration Day termination of Peter Robb as the agency’s top lawyer.
